My name is Natasha, and I am currently a resident physician working at Stanford Healthcare. I started this website in medical school, and some content may be out of date – my apologies! The best email to reach me at is: abadilla@stanford.edu.
— Older website content below —
I am also a: researcher, writer, and “mom” to Louie (the chillest mini dwarf hamster in the world, who recently passed away after living a long dwarf hamster life) and Reeses (the most energetic miniature pinscher you’ll ever meet). More on the work I’ve done/currently do here, and if you really wanna delve into my personal life, feel free to do so here and here.
You might be here to learn more about my writing or research. Others might be curious about med student life at Stanford, or the things I did in Kenya before I started medical school. Finally, many are referred to my website for information on the Menehune Mentorship Program I started in 2019. Luckily, there are sections for all of those things above!
Before you go, here are some sites and causes definitely worth checking out:
- POC Docs: an initiative a med school friend and I started to increase representation of POC in the medical and health care fields; reach out if you’d like your story featured.
- The National Domestic Violence Hotline: the only 24/7 free hotline in the United States that connects Domestic Violence/Intimate Partner Violence victims and survivors, and those concerned about them, to resources and support; please read my piece published in the Stanford Med Scope blog to learn about why this organization is so close to my heart.
- DPS Rescue: the organization I rescued my Reeses from and one I have begun to volunteer with; they are always in need of resources, whether it be volunteer hours, foster homes, partnerships, or donations of any kind.
